University of Lincoln
The University of Lincoln is proud of its reputation for providing a high-quality student experience underpinned by inspirational teaching.
We have around 14,000 students and 1,600 members of staff in our academic community, which features more than 100 different nationalities across our three campuses in Lincoln, Riseholme, and Holbeach.
Our academic departments, or Schools, are organised into four Colleges: the College of Arts, the College of Science, the College of Social Science, and the Lincoln International Business School. Within these we offer a wide variety of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as short courses, degree apprenticeships, and PhD and postdoctoral opportunities.
Academic teams are involved in research at the leading edge of their disciplines, from developing new antibiotics and more effective cancer treatments, to tackling the digital divide and preserving historical artefacts. This research is changing the world and is recognised nationally and internationally.
Our specialist Procurement Team have implemented a category management structure, where spend categories are supported by dedicated procurement professionals. Category Managers work with departments to tender and manage high value contracts (above £50k excluding VAT), delivering improvements to enhance value for money, and contributing to our overall success.
