Short Description: | We are looking for a licensed awarding body for the National Quality in Careers Standard to deliver a programme of support to help identified schools in West Yorkshire to progress towards achieving the National Quality in Careers Standard Award. This programme should: •Support schools to make progress in areas that have been identified as needing improvement through the Compass or other self-assessment activity. •Specifically support schools to consider how to implement additional Higher Education progression related activity and/or how to embed activity initiated under NCOP in their wider careers strategy. •Provide mechanisms for and encourage schools to share practice and learn from each other. For example, matching schools already delivering activity under NCOP to mentor another school to help them to implement Higher Education progression related activities. •Include assessment and verification in order for a school to gain the Quality in Careers Standard Award where appropriate. •Be complementary and additional to existing activity in this area. |
