II.2.4) Description of the procurement: This is an AWARD NOTICE subsequent to a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice, indicating that The University of Leeds intends to enter into a contract with Nion Company to purchase a significant upgrade to existing electron microscopy equipment. The existing equipment was designed and manufactured by Nion Company. All of the required upgrades will be mechanically integrated into the existing microscopy equipment, all of the required upgrades will be interfaced with the existing software control system.
