   II.1.4) Short Description: The contract comprises the cleaning of the residential
portfolio and the Edge Sports Facility at the University
of Leeds. The University provides accommodation for
approximately 7000 students, approximately 5000 of
which are housed in 10 large University managed
Student Residences and up to 30 smaller properties.
The Edge sports centre has one of the largest fitness
suites of any UK University, 2 large indoor courts,3
dedicated class studios, squash Courts, Climbing Wall
and an outdoor 5 a side pitch. The facility has
approximately 15000 members with high usage
focused around term time and plays host to many
national and international events throughout a year.
The tender shall be divided into 4 Lots
Lot 1 A; Accommodation Cleaning at those named
sites
Lot 1 B; Conference Cleaning and Housekeeping
Service
Lot 2; Contractual & Conference Cleaning at those
named sites
