The specialist knowledge of Glasbau Hahn of the existing drawers scheme means it is not possible to get comparison quotes for the specialist refurbishment.

This contract is for the retrofit of specialist Art Gallery storage and display drawers supplied by Glasbau Hahn to the University in 2008. The drawer units are of museum standard and will be retrofitted with glass tops to enable storage and viewing of small and fragile textile items. An example of one of the collections to be supported by this retrofit is the International Textile archive which is an important collection that is currently not easily accessible to researchers.
