The University of Leeds wishes to establish a framework for transcription and translation services. Due to the wide scope of academic research conducted by UoL our requirements are varied and so we expect we will need multiple suppliers on the framework to fulfil all our needs, and this may include certain specialisms/expertise. We anticipate to have approximately 10-15 suppliers on this framework for transcription and approximately 5 for translation services.
We anticipate the tender to have two separate skill sets, one for transcription and one for translation, and any supplier can bid for either or both depending on their skills/services. The overall value of the contract is circa £150,000 per annum but as this will be shared amongst multiple suppliers on the framework there is no guarantee of that level of work. We anticipate the contract period to be for four years but it will be reviewed annually and subject to satisfactory performance.
