4. Description: Substation equipment. Substation construction work. Supply, (modification of existing installation) installation, testing and commissioning of the Mechanical/Electrical Services for the new A1 Substation. The works will include the construction of a temporary Faculty Garage/Store in accordance with the Architectural and Structural Documentation, making safe, disconnecting, removing, protecting and storing existing equipment/goods from the stated location as described in the Works Information. Works will include provision of new transformers, HV and LV switchgear, the provision of a new LV main distribution panel, inter-connecting cables; the enlivenment of the HV equipment by means of diversion and extension of existing HV ring supply; the phased and sequential changeover of outgoing LV supplies from the existing to the new LV panel and decommissioning of existing substation. Formation of Transformer Rooms and Faculty Store all in accordance with the Works Information.
